Firstly, we’d like to thank the news team for their balanced reporting on the issue – it can be a tough topic and we feel they covered it fairly.

The Government has moved to ban the sale of Kronic and other similar products to those under the age of 18 – and we for one are very glad. Kronic and other industry leaders have always been 100% committed to a total ban on the sale of our products to those under the age of 18.

Our products have always been promoted as strictly R18, and we regularly remind stores and stockists they risk losing the ability to stock them should they violate this. While it was not previously illegal to sell to those under the age of 18, we think it is just common sense not to – our submissions to the Government reflect this as we have long called for a ruling to impose an R18 limit.

“The committee said it is unacceptable for products containing the substances to be widely available without controls on packaging, marketing and sale” Peter Dunne said. We 100% agree and support this – Kronic and other industry partners have been lobbying the Government for years to introduce safety restrictions, as the safety of our consumers and the public is our main priority.

In response to Ross Bell’s comments, Kronic would like to state their strong support and continuing efforts in ensuring Kronic and its products are promoted in a manner that is acceptable to everyone.

As a strong supporter of the introduction of the Class D category in the Misuse of Drugs Act, Kronic would welcome its inclusion in this category for a number of reasons.

1) Age limits – Kronic strictly specifies an R18 policy for its products, both online and in-store, and would welcome legislation further ensuring these products are 100% unavailable to those under the age of 18.

2) Mandatory health warnings – Kronic would welcome the introduction of mandatory health labelling on products in the industry – we are in the process of updating our packaging with health advisories

3) Advertising controls – We would like to see free sampling banned and advertising restricted to in store only.

4) Harm minimisation – Kronic is committed to providing consumers with a safe, legal alternative to illicit substances.

You might also have spotted that it’s CHRISTMAS!!! And hell we love Xmas – presents, eggnog, skimpily dressed elves, parties and good damn times. Kronic was no different of course – we had to have a party, and it had to be huge (trust us, it was mind-blowing).

But our favourite bit was of course our magnificent Kronic Kristmas Kake. Baked with all the goodness of Kronic. Just like Mum used to make.

Kronic Tropical Explosion was reviewed earlier this year by one of the team at American based Funnytripz.com, an independant site that reviews legal highs worldwide and then offers their thoughts with the global legal high community. It sounds like a tough job but someone’s got to do it!

We were happy to hear that they’d got their hands on a pack of our Kronic Tropical Explosion and were keen to see what they thought about it. We know it’s the best legal weed on the market but it’s always nice to have someone else pat us on the back and tell us what a great product it is.

We’ve received many kind words from our loyal customers as well as a heap of extra calls from people who’d seen the show and wanted to know how they could get there hands on the goodies so we’d like to take a moment to say thank you to the kind people at TV3 for sharing the word. Never one to let the party stop we’ve been flat out rolling plenty more of the Kronic joints so that there’s enough to go around. At the time of writing this we still have a fair bit in stock so feel free to jump on over to our store to buy pre rolled joints before we run out.

1/2 cup butter
1 1/3 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
2 cups of chocolate drops
Half a teaspoon of Kronic per person, simply add to the mix prior to mixing

Directions:
1) Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2) Mix (by hand) the butter, sugars, and egg into a large bowl. Add Kronic at this point.
3) Combine the baking soda, salt, and flour.
4) Slowly add the flour mixture to the butter mixture and stir by hand.
5) Shape the dough into 1-inch balls and place them two inches apart on a greased cookie sheet
6) Stir in the chocolate drops
7) Bake for 10-12 minutes or until light brown.
Hungry? Let cool for 3 or 4 minutes and grub.

Makes 20 Cookies.
